Across The Pond by Michael McCormick is the story of a young American man who fights a war in Vietnam for his country, only to be rejected when he returns. This eBook is a work of fiction based on the experiences of Michael MCormick, who at the age of 19 was awarded the Silver Star Medal and the Purple Heart for combat action in Vietnam.

After the war, Michael earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. In clinical psychology. He has worked extensively with war veterans. The foreword to the book is written by Ron Kovic, author of Born On The Fourth of July, the book used as the basis for Oliver Stone’s movie of the same name.
