Cotton Wool World

by Anna Westwood

There is a phrase in the UK about ‘Being wrapped up in Cotton Wool’. It means being shielded from reality and with it comes a general acceptance that ignorance is justifiable. This novel is an observation of Western Society, with particual focus on a British outlook on life. One where ‘Which crisps to choose?’ may have more influence on your life than ‘What job would I like to do?’. The works follows the thought patterns of a twenty-something Eve, who feels that society codemns her for thinking that people mostly talk bollocks. Please note, this work contains subject matter that may bit a little strong for those already living in a Cotton Wool World.
