The Dark Tower Series is a series of eight books and one novella written by Stephen King, between 1970 and 2012, widely considered to be (and described by King himself as) his magnum opus. The series incorporates elements of fantasy, science fiction, horror, and Western stories. It’s also a dense series that shifts between being a Western to a science fiction or fantasy adventure. There is horror (lots of it) in the form of monsters and vampires as well as romance and drama.

The Dark Tower book-to-movie-adaptation, arrives in theaters on August 4th, 2017. The Dark Tower has had a long road to the big screen. The consistent delay has been difficulty in finding a way to translate the epic scale of Stephen King’s eight novel series onto the big screen. This movie serves to continue where the last novel in the series left off and present a continuation and reboot of the story that also operates within the same narrative.

This video will cover 70 of The Dark Tower book cover design variations by Stephen King, whether they’re official, fan-made or even some from posters – just to get some variety going on. Hope you’ll enjoy these book cover video. Are all of you excited for the upcoming movie?
