Submit Your Free Ebooks

If you have written any ebook(s) and wish to distribute it to the public, you can email me your ebook together with the following details :-

  1. Ebook file or direct download link. (No “subscribe to newsletter first to download ebook” please.)
  2. An image / screenshot of your ebook cover
  3. Description of your ebook
  4. What category does your ebook fall in? Feel free to suggest a category which is not currently listed.
  5. Also make sure that you’re the rightful owner of the ebook or have the permission to distribute the ebook.

Feel free to submit more than one, if you have a huge collection of ebooks in your hand. We would prefer your ebooks to be in PDF or HTML format, as EXE formats are not that particularly welcomed as it possesses a wide variety of threats. Also do make sure that you’re the rightful owner / writer of the ebook or you should at least have some distribution rights of it should it doesn’t belong to you.

Free Ebooks for 2 years?

National e-books project makes taught course texts freely available for 2 years!

An excerpt taken directly from JISC

From today and for the next two years a collection of 36 taught course texts is being made freely available to all higher education institutions as part of JISC’s national e-books observatory project. The texts, chosen after extensive consultation over the summer, include some of the most popular texts in Business Studies and Management, Medicine, Engineering and Media Studies. 

This 2 year project by JISC has a variety of objectives, which I personally think is extremely great, and tremendously benefits everybody. One of which I find the most interesting is how they intend to understand better on how ebooks are utilized by the Internet dwellers today. That should be a great data to be collected by anybody.
