The Greatest Books

“Sometimes you read a book so special that you want to carry it around with you for months after you’ve finished just to stay near it.” – Markus Zusak

This site basically generates a set of top titles from a set of list available here. The calculations behind how high a title ranks is pretty simple – the more a book appears on a particular list (some lists count more than others), the higher it ranks.

Both fiction & non-fiction are available and sortable by date range of publication. The list of titles for both of these categories can be downloaded as CSV files for offline viewing.

If you want to keep track on any of the listed titles as something you’ve read or planning to read, a quick registration as a member allows you to do exactly that. Registration is free.
