Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, Presented by Paul W. Collins
by Paul W. Collins

This is a novelization of the play incorporating Shakespeare’s dialogue – no footnotes! At the end of a violent Scottish insurrection, three mischievous agents of Fate tempt a valiant warrior who in times of peace has been an unprincipled thane, a nobleman eager to rise, but reluctant to create political opportunity by criminal means. His ambitious wife is not so hesitant – she demands that he act, and the pair’s conniving soon bears its fruits – and consequences. Living in luxury, the deadly couple are haunted: she, tormented by nightmarish guilt, he, sleepless, and driven to violent action in hopes of altering the dismal destiny prophesied for him. Macbeth’s extravagance and increasingly malevolent actions arouse fear, then stir resistance, bringing Scotland’s nobility to the verge of civil war. Always bold, he is fearless after again listening to the ‘witches’. As have many others, after seizing power and exerting it ruthlessly, he comes to believe he’s invincible. Only the impossible, it seems, could defeat Macbeth – but his patriotic opponents must try.

K2

K2

K2
by Geoff Wolak

The K2 series of novels deal with the contemporary effects of events that shaped Europe after the end of the Second World War, in particular NAZI gold, freemasons and the Swiss; how money was used to start many modern day European corporations. They also touch upon many modern topics, such as terrorist threats, and what the intelligence services may be up to behind closed doors. The books are largely based in fact. If you are surprised by any of that, you’ll find the detail online – it’s all out there.

Closer Than Breathing
by Alan Keslian

The book tells the story of Ben, a young gay man new to the metropolis, who is confronted by a series of odd, eccentric people, including drug dealers, goths, psychics, veteran author Loyd Larcher and ageing rock stars Rick Schwagger and Heath Prityards. He survives by engaging the world with goodwill and good humour. He makes use of opportunities along the way to achieve success, ghost writing a rock star’s autobiography, and finding true love with a level headed and down to earth boyfriend. Whilst the straight world around them becomes ever more weird and out of control, the couple are determined to be true to themselves and each other.

Viking Saga

Viking Saga

Viking Saga
by Mark Coakley

Viking Saga is a pulse pounding literary historical thriller, set in 793 AD, when Norway was ruled by many small kingdoms and folk still worshipped the old gods. Halfdan the Black, a young fighter and beer soaked poet, with a Norse father and African mother, vows revenge for the killing of his king. Halfdan’s fate leads him through actual historical events, such as the raid on England’s Lindisfarne nunnery and the first Norse contacts with Christianity. This spare, cunningly ironic novel is set against a brutal backdrop of life in the ‘Dark Ages’, and features violent action, a unique love story, odd twists, cool humour, primitive poems and more. Well researched and fast moving, Viking Saga follows Halfdan the Black as he battles, boozes and rhymes his way to revenge, love, wisdom and becoming the first king of a unified Norway.

The Variant Effect

The Variant Effect

The Variant Effect
by G. Wells Taylor

The old furrier building in a rundown part of Metro was the perfect place to find a body, and Joe Borland knew they wouldn’t have dragged him out of retirement to see it if something hadn’t eaten its skin. It’s been twenty years since Borland battled the Variant Effect, and twenty since he let his partner get skinned alive. Now both of them are ordered back into action to meet the new threat.

This ebook will be published in installments, and should be completed in another 2 or 3 more if I’m not mistaken. Enjoy!
