An interesting thing about this site is its trademark term, OpenAccess, which will allow readers to view 100% of a book’s content on www.hachettebookgroup.com. In other words, they’re trying to simulate a way of allowing customers to ‘try’ a book before making a purchase. You can view their OpenAccess ebooks entirely online using their flash powered system, allowing you to turn pages like how you would in real life. You can search for certain keywords and even navigate yourself through chapters from their non-obtrusive table of contents.

Free ebooks are meant to be read and enjoyed by everybody regardless of physical imperfections, hence why this post is being made, although I must admit that this should be the first post that should be posted here. Having said that, do join me in the journey to increase this list of resources to make it a comprehensive one, to provide and create the proper accessibility channels. Sony Reader Adds 500,000 Free Ebooks to Its Collection Through Partnership with Google

Good news sure do travel fast. Through a recent partnership between Sony and Google (reported by DownloadSquad), Sony Ebook Store will gain an additional half a million public domain ebooks, totally free to be downloaded right away. Don’t expect for any latest ebooks as this list belongs to the public domain, hence were written quite a while back. Nevertheless, this is a big news for all Sony Reader owners.

The procedures are simple to follow …
